King of Crabs - Invasion Takes Crab Battle Royale to Epic Crab Warfare!

During its launch in 2019, King of Crabs gained popularity for its weird yet delightful concept: a battle royale featuring crabs. Now, developer Robot Squid is diving back into crustacean chaos with something even bigger. Introducing King of Crabs – Invasion.

From Epic Crab Battle Royale to Epic Crab Warfare

In this new game, Robot Squid has completely reimagined the format. Rather than jumping into a frenzied tidepool with 99 other players, it’s now a real-time strategy experience. They’ve transformed the original chaos into a compact RTS.

You still command crabs into battle in King of Crabs – Invasion, just like before. But instead of racing around to grab weapons and devour smaller creatures to grow, you strategically deploy units along a linear battlefield.

You’ll have access to standard crab soldiers, catapults, and tank-like units armed with massive claws. Each match revolves around overwhelming your opponent before they destroy your side of the map—also influenced by the terrain and random obstacles you encounter.

King of Crabs – Invasion Is on Android --------------------------------------

The game is already live in Australia, Canada, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Singapore. For players worldwide, it launches on Android on May 30th—just three days away. It functions more as a spin-off of the original.

Speaking of the original, King of Crabs was Robot Squid’s debut title, released by the British indie studio founded in 2018. They partnered with Spilt Milk Studios to launch it in 2020 for Microsoft Windows, Android, and iOS. At its peak, some even called it Fortnite with claws.
