Kirisaki-themed Skins for Loki and Hela
NetEase shared on Marvel Rivals' Twitter (X) on April 21 that they're set to launch new skins for Loki and Hela. The skins, named Loki’s Shin Sagi-Shi and Hela’s Yami no Karasu, draw inspiration from Marvel’s Kirisaki Mountains in the Demon Days series by Peach Momoko. This series reimagines Marvel characters within the rich tapestry of Japanese folklore and mythology.
Marvel Rivals has already embraced this theme with previous releases, like Peni Parker’s Yatsukahagi skin, and more are on the horizon according to their social media updates. The new costumes for Loki and Hela will be available starting April 25 at 2:00 UTC. While prices haven't been disclosed yet, fans can anticipate these skins coming bundled with special emotes, stickers, and other goodies.
Alongside the skin reveal, Marvel Rivals launched Art Vision Vol. 01, a video series featuring art developers discussing the creative process behind the game's visuals. Marvel Rivals Art Director Dino, along with other design experts, shared insights on the "inspirations and foundations for designing the world of Marvel Rivals."
Earn Rewards By Striking A Pose!
Marvel Rivals is currently hosting an engaging online event where players can win free goodies. To celebrate the launch of Season 2: Hellfire Gala, the developers have placed welcome signs across the new Krakoa Map. Participants need to strike a pose on these signs, capture a screenshot, and then share it by retweeting or commenting on the event post.
Ten lucky winners will receive an exclusive Jeff the Land Shark Hand Fan, while another ten will be awarded with special Series 2 Fridge Magnets. The event concludes on April 25, and winners will be announced on April 29.
