Marvel Rivals Reveals New Stats and Most Picked Heroes

Marvel Rivals: Season 1 Approaches with New Hero Data Revealed

NetEase has released compelling statistics highlighting the most and least popular heroes in Marvel Rivals during its initial month. The data reveals player preferences and win rates across Quickplay and Competitive modes on both PC and console.

Jeff the Land Shark reigns supreme in Quickplay popularity, boasting the highest pick rate across both platforms. However, Mantis surprisingly claims the top spot for overall win rate, exceeding 50% in both Quickplay (56%) and Competitive (55%) modes. Other high-performing heroes include Loki, Hela, and Adam Warlock.

The competitive landscape shows platform-specific favorites: Cloak & Dagger dominates console competitive play, while Luna Snow leads on PC.

Here's a breakdown of the most picked heroes:

  • Quickplay (PC & Console): Jeff the Land Shark
  • Competitive (Console): Cloak & Dagger
  • Competitive (PC): Luna Snow

Conversely, Storm, a Duelist character, struggles with extremely low pick rates (1.66% in Quickplay and a mere 0.69% in Competitive), largely attributed to perceived weaknesses in damage and gameplay. However, NetEase has announced significant buffs for Storm in the upcoming Season 1, potentially altering her position significantly.

The arrival of the Fantastic Four in Season 1 (launching January 10th), along with these balance changes, promises to reshape the Marvel Rivals meta and significantly impact these statistics. The introduction of Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman at launch, followed by The Human Torch and The Thing mid-season, will undoubtedly add another layer of complexity to the game's already dynamic roster.
