Mawile Debuts in Pokémon Sleep

A new Pokémon is making its way into your research records, and this one definitely has a bite to offer. Say hello to Mawile—the clever Steel-type that’s now available in Pokémon Sleep. Alongside its debut, the Packed Portions Cooking Week Part 1 is also set to begin soon.

Mawile’s Debut Date in Pokémon Sleep
From June 9th, 2025 at 3:00 p.m., you can start encountering Mawile through your research activities in Pokémon Sleep. If you're resting in areas like Greengrass Isle, Taupe Hollow, or Old Gold Power Plant, keep an eye out for it during your Slumbering-type sessions.

This cunning Pokémon brings with it the signature skill Ingredient Draw S, known in-game as its main ability Hyper Cutter. This skill enables Mawile to pull in a random type of ingredient while exploring. On occasion, it might even gather more ingredients than usual—making it a valuable helper for your cooking needs.

Packed Portions Cooking Week Part 1
Coinciding with Mawile’s arrival is the launch of the Packed Portions Cooking Week Part 1, starting on June 9th and running until June 16th. The event highlights helpers with an Ingredients specialty, and all game areas are included.

During this time, several gameplay enhancements will be active:

  • Cooking pot capacity increases by 50% daily, peaking at 200% on Sundays.
  • Meals restore an additional 5 Energy to your Pokémon.
  • Helpers with Ingredient Magnet S or Ingredient Draw S skills see their effects multiplied by 1.5x.
  • Base strength gains from dishes receive a 1.5x boost, increasing to 3x for Extra Tasty dishes, and up to 4.5x if made on Sunday.
  • Pokémon with the Ingredients specialty bring back one extra ingredient per ingredient run.

Looking to Level Up Your Team?
A limited-time Mini Candy Boost feature is active, offering EXP gains at a lower cost compared to the standard Candy Boost. While it uses four times the amount of Dream Shards per candy, it doubles the EXP received—making it efficient for focused training.

Beyond Mawile, more Pokémon are joining the mix through research, including:

  • Bulbasaur
  • Charmander
  • Squirtle
  • Gastly
  • Pinsir
  • Eevee
  • Dratini
  • Wooper
  • Murkrow
  • Aron
  • Heracross
  • Delibird
  • Happiny
  • Sprigatito
  • Fuecoco

If you haven’t downloaded the game yet, head over to the Google Play Store to get started.
