Mecha BREAK Developers Considering Making All Mechs Free

Mecha BREAK May Unlock All Starting Mechs Following Player Feedback

The multiplayer mech game, Mecha BREAK, concluded its open beta test on Steam on March 16, drawing insightful feedback from players. The game saw a peak of over 300,000 players during its open beta, and it currently ranks as the 5th most wishlisted game on Steam.

Amazing Seasun, the Chinese developer behind Mecha BREAK, is now evaluating several modifications, including the possibility of making all Break Strikers (Mechs) accessible from the start and adjusting the use of mech modules in 3v3 and 6v6 competitive modes. While no final decisions have been made, the developers believe that adopting a live service model at launch is crucial for the game's future sustainability.

Initially, players could only start with one Break Striker, with the option to unlock the other 11 by earning and spending in-game currency. This process involves grinding through numerous multiplayer matches, which can be time-consuming and may delay players from experiencing the full range of Break Strikers.
