If you've already powered through the 20 new quests added in MythWalker’s last update, get ready to dive back in—because NantGames has just launched a fresh update that brings an exciting new way to play with friends. Introducing the brand-new Tethering feature, a synchronous co-op mode that lets you team up with players from around the world and explore the vast world of Mytherra together, no matter how far apart you are. After all, what’s distance when you’re on an epic adventure with your squad?
With Tethering, you can join forces with up to two other players in real-time exploration. Simply choose a lead player whose location becomes the shared map, and then adventure together as a team. For example, if your friend is in Japan, you and another teammate can tether to them and all explore Tokyo's streets side by side—all while battling creatures and completing objectives together.
Speaking of creatures, this update also introduces a brand-new enemy type: the cunning Wyldevae. Don’t be fooled by their innocent looks—they're clever tricksters and a surprisingly tough challenge. But don't worry, taking them down comes with its own perks. Defeating Wyldevae rewards you with exclusive in-game items, making them well worth the effort. Different types of Wyldevae appear in specific biomes: Bergavae roam Mountain regions, Strandavae wash up on Islands, and Fennavae lurk in Swamps. Time to gear up and hunt!
