Solaris Joins Battle of Polytopia, Aiming to Incinerate the Square!

The Battle of Polytopia has now unleashed the fiery Solaris on mobile platforms, following its initial release on PC a few months ago. This blazing counterpart to the frosty Polaris tribe is set to incinerate the Square, bringing an intense new dynamic to the game.

The Solaris Makes Everything Hot in The Battle of Polytopia

With the new Solaris skin, the landscape transforms dramatically: ice turns into an inferno, snow into ash, and tranquil lakes morph into pools of lava. While technically the same tribe, Solaris has now shifted from cold-hearted strategies to much more explosive tactics.

This update brings with it some fiery lore, connecting to an eternal war that devastates entire worlds. The icy Polaris had previously encountered the mysterious Gaami, but the arrival of the Ralmi has escalated tensions. The Ralmi, fire-wielding invaders emerging from underground, have set their sights on conquering the Square. Their initial move involves capturing the Solaris and spreading their fiery magic across the land.

The Solaris Have a Few Tricks Up Their Sleeves

Solaris players can now turn water into solid lava, altering map navigation strategies. Their units, such as the Pyro, leave a trail of destruction by burning everything in their path, while Ash Archers can petrify enemy troops. Additionally, the Steam Wagon allows for rapid movement over lava rivers, and Lava Banks enable players to generate stars by igniting the terrain. Players can now master techniques like Heatwork for building craters, Geothermics for harnessing volcanic turbines, and Explosives for dramatic gameplay. Meanwhile, the Ralmi introduce their own destructive elements, including the Tuagama Lizard and Igmina Crystals.
