"Type: Null, Ultra Beasts Enter Pokemon TCG Pocket's Extradimensional Crisis Expansion"

Authore: ZoeUpdate:May 31,2025

If you haven’t collected all the cards from the Celestial Guardians Expansion in Pokemon TCG Pocket, here’s some news that might leave you wishing you’d been quicker on the draw. The next expansion, Extradimensional Crisis, is set to release on May 29, and it’s bringing some seriously quirky additions to the game. Think Ultra Beasts—those bizarre alien-like creatures that made their debut as interdimensional intruders in Pokemon Sun and Moon—and the creepy chimera Pokemon, Type: Null.

Extradimensional Crisis will introduce several Ultra Beasts, including Buzzwole ex, Blacephalon, Nihilego, and Guzzlord ex. Plus, expect more Alola region Pokemon to join the lineup, with Type: Null likely paving the way for its evolved form, Silvally.

And let’s not forget the cosmetic upgrades—because every new expansion needs them. Starting May 29, you’ll be able to score an Ultra Beast-themed binder cover using shop tickets. Later, on June 11, a floral display board will be available through event tickets tied to a Wonder Pick event.

Since its launch last year, Pokemon TCG Pocket has been rolling out expansions at a steady pace. Extradimensional Crisis marks the seventh expansion overall and the fourth minor booster expansion following Mythical Island, Triumphant Light, and Shining Revelry. For now, all expansions remain active and accessible within the game... but who knows what the future holds?
