"Sea Battle" is a two-player game where opponents take turns calling out coordinates on a hidden enemy grid.
If the opponent has a ship located on those coordinates, that vessel (or a section of it) is hit and "sunk,"
granting the attacking player another turn. The primary objective is to be the first to destroy all of your opponent's ships.
Each player commands a 10x10 grid where their fleet is strategically positioned.
The fleet consists of:
1 ship — a line of 4 cells ("four-decker"; battleship)
2 ships — a line of 3 cells ("three-decker"; cruisers)
3 ships — a line of 2 cells ("double-decker"; destroyers)
4 ships — a single cell ("single-decker"; torpedo boats)
When placing your fleet, ships must not touch each other, even at their sides or corners.
Adjacent to your own grid is an identically sized, empty "enemy" grid. This represents the section of sea where your opponent's ships are located.
A successful hit on an enemy ship is marked with a cross (X) on your targeting grid, while a miss is marked with a dot. The player who scores a hit gets to fire again.
The winner is the first player to successfully sink all 10 of their opponent's vessels.
Play against AI bots with varying difficulty levels or connect with others locally via LAN or WiFi. No internet connection is required!
LAN Connection Options:
- Create a WiFi hotspot on one device and connect another device to it.
- Connect multiple devices to the same router.
