Thunee, derived from the Tamil word for water, is a beloved trick-taking card game that originated in Durban, South Africa. It draws its roots from the Indian and Sri Lankan game 304, offering players an engaging experience reminiscent of the traditional game.

Thunee can be enjoyed in both Single Player and Multiplayer modes, providing the ultimate gaming experience in an app that simulates the real game. For the best experience and to upload or update your scores, an internet connection is necessary.

In Multiplayer mode, you can invite friends to join as your partner or challenge them to a game. Invitations are easily sent via WhatsApp push notifications. The app keeps track of game results and statistics, which are displayed on a dedicated statistics page, perfect for bragging about who's the best player in your circle.

For beginners, the Easy difficulty setting offers assistance and narration during gameplay, helping new players learn the ropes.

The app is highly customizable through its settings/options menu, allowing you to tailor the game to your preferred style. You can adjust various options such as:

Difficulty level: Hard, Medium, or Easy
Score assistance for Medium & Easy modes, providing real-time trick/hand values and scores
Bidding prompts: choose to be asked to bid all the time or only when holding 3 or more cards of the same suit or J9
Early win/loss notifications if you or your opponents exceed the required score (enabled by default)
Option to claim victory early, including Double and Khanuck claims
Adjust the time to clear a trick (hand), with the ability to click and clear tricks earlier if needed (default time is 1 second)
Vocal sounds for bidding, calling Jodhi, and other actions
Customize the game's appearance by changing the background or selecting your own color with a vignette effect, and choosing different card packs
Option to include Royals, where card values are reversed (e.g., Queens become Jacks, Kings become Nines)
