After months of swirling rumors and tantalizing leaks, it appears that Bethesda is on the brink of officially unveiling the much-anticipated remake of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The announcement is set to be made tomorrow at 11:00 am EST, as confirmed by Bethesda's recent tweet.

The tweet, shared across the platform formerly known as Twitter, hinted at a significant reveal scheduled for 8am PT/11am ET. This announcement will be live-streamed on both YouTube and Twitch. While Bethesda kept the details under wraps, the prominent "IV" and a background eerily reminiscent of Oblivion's iconic art leave little room for doubt about what's coming.
Rumors about an Oblivion remake have been circulating for what feels like an eternity. The first whispers emerged in 2020 following a leaked Bethesda release schedule from the FTC vs. Microsoft trial in 2023, which hinted at an Oblivion remaster slated for fiscal year 2022. Though that window has long passed, the buzz didn't die down. In January of this year, a new leak suggested that Bethesda, in collaboration with support studio Virtuos, was working on a full-blown remake.
