Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, Sandlord, is now live, marking the game's biggest season yet. This thrilling update introduces a host of new features that completely change the gameplay dynamics, allowing you to build a floating empire in the sky.

The centerpiece of the season is the Cloud Oasis, a city you manage. You'll gather resources from the Netherrealm and convert them into tangible benefits by assigning workers to one of five professions. This strategic element unlocks new trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards, blending the thrill of ARPG combat with the depth of a strategy simulation.
The character Thea has undergone a dramatic transformation, now known as the Blasphemer. No longer the divine channeler, she now spreads desecration, inflicting Erosion Damage that intensifies over time.
The Deep Space region has also been revamped, featuring five new stages packed with monsters and survival challenges. A new item, Probes, has been introduced. These function similarly to Compasses but occupy their own slot, boosting both your rewards and the difficulty level.

The endgame now includes new Legendary Stages, which are rare but offer unique loot setups that can alter your gameplay strategy. Some zones, like the Abyssal Vault, deviate from the norm, containing no enemies but instead filled with Mystery Chests ripe for looting.
On the other hand, the Sea of Rites is teeming with a non-aggressive goblin swarm. Eliminating them could summon a secret boss, adding an exciting twist to your adventures.
The Supreme Showdown stage introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both you and the bosses to use it. With the right hit, you can transform enemies into treasure instantly.
