Get ready, gamers! Delta Force is set to make a global debut, thanks to Garena. The much-anticipated tactical FPS, previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, is launching its PC Open Beta on December 5th, 2024. Mobile enthusiasts, you'll have to wait a bit longer as the mobile open beta is scheduled for next year.
For those unfamiliar with its history, Delta Force was initially developed by NovaLogic. The project was later taken over by Tencent's TiMi Studios, the creators behind Call of Duty Mobile. Now, Garena is partnering with TiMi to bring Delta Force to various global regions.
One exciting feature of Delta Force is its cross-progression system, allowing seamless gameplay across PC and mobile platforms. In 2025, Garena and TiMi plan to roll out Delta Force on both platforms in Southeast Asia, Taiwan, Brazil, Central and South America, the Middle East, and North Africa.
What Will Garena Offer in Delta Force?
Let's dive into the game modes you'll experience:
If you're a fan of massive battles, you'll love Warfare. This mode pits 32 players against 32 others in a sprawling war zone that extends across land, air, and sea. Teams are organized into squads of four operators, making for intense and strategic gameplay.
On the other hand, Operations takes you into the world of extraction shooters. Here, you'll team up in groups of three for high-stakes missions. Your objective? Scavenge for loot, evade enemies, and race against time to reach an extraction point. Any loot you gather can be used in future matches or traded for in-game currency. You can also take down opponents to steal their gear and supplies. Keep an eye out for bosses, restricted areas, and special missions scattered across the map.
There's a special item called MandelBrick hidden within this mode. Finding it unlocks exclusive skins, but beware—it broadcasts your location to all other players. Talk about a thrilling challenge!
