Hades 2 is set to launch on both the Nintendo Switch and the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2 as a timed console exclusive. While an exact release date hasn't been announced, developer Supergiant Games has confirmed that the eagerly awaited sequel will be available on PC, as well as the Nintendo Switch 2 and the original Switch, simultaneously later this year.
The news of Hades 2's arrival on Nintendo's enhanced Switch 2 was first revealed during last week's Nintendo Direct. However, Supergiant Games has since clarified that the game will not only be available on both Switch versions but will also enjoy a period of timed exclusivity on Nintendo's consoles.
"Hades II v1.0 will launch simultaneously on our Early Access platforms (Steam and Epic Games Store), Nintendo Switch 2, and the original Nintendo Switch," the team announced via X/Twitter.

It remains uncertain when Hades 2 will eventually become available on other consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.
