Honor of Kings Opens League With World Cup Berth

  • Honor of Kings: World's Regional Leagues kick off today
  • Teams compete for coveted spots in this year's World Cup
  • 18 teams will battle for the championship title in Riyadh at the KWC

As summer approaches, the path to Riyadh for the premier series at the Esports World Cup is officially underway. Honor of Kings joins the fray, with its Regional Leagues launching today.

Seven regional leagues, spanning from the Philippines to Brazil and other locations, will feature teams vying for the title of regional champion. Additionally, they will compete for a prized qualification spot in the upcoming Honor of Kings World Cup in Riyadh later this year.

The KWC will host 18 teams competing for the championship. For the first time, qualifying teams from the Regional Leagues will clash with champions from the KPL Spring season, ensuring even more intense esports competition.

Start Dates are as follows:

  • Indonesia Kings Laga: Group Stage (May 11-18), Playoffs (May 30, June 1)
  • MY Honor of Kings League: Group Stage (April 18-May 25), Playoffs (June 6-8)
  • Philippine King League: Group Stage (April 11-May 25), Playoffs (June 6-8)
  • Wildcard King Series: Group Stage (May 16-June 1), Playoffs (June 6-8)
  • Major East League: Group Stage (April 17-20, April 24-27), Knockout Stage (May 2-3), Major Last Call (May 4)
  • Major West League: Group Stage (April 17-20, April 24-27), Knockout Stage (May 2-3), Major Last Call (May 4)
  • Honor of Kings Brazil Championship: Group Stage (May 16-18, May 22-25), Playoffs (May 31-June 1, June 7-8)
