Did you catch Jenna Ortega's fleeting appearance in Iron Man 3? It's completely understandable if you missed it - the Wednesday star appeared for just seconds as a wheelchair-bound child in the 2013 Marvel film.

Now a global superstar at 22, Ortega recently joked with Entertainment Weekly about her blink-and-you'll-miss-it MCU debut at age 11. "They took all my lines out," she laughed, recalling her role as the limbless daughter of Vice President Rodriguez. "I'm in Iron Man 3 for a quick second. I take up the frame, I have one leg."
Her Death of a Unicorn co-star Paul Rudd (Marvel's Ant-Man) playfully suggested this could be Marvel setting up future appearances. "They should be so lucky to have Jenna Ortega in their franchise," he quipped. But Ortega remains skeptical - "They even took my name away," she noted wryly.

3RDThe irony? Ortega's tiny role in what was originally intended as a minor subplot belongs to one of the MCU's most financially successful entries. Despite mixed reviews, Iron Man 3 earned $1.2 billion worldwide, outpacing later hits like Spider-Man: Far From Home.

With today's superhero films struggling to match past box office heights, perhaps Marvel might want to reconsider bringing Ortega back - though which character she might play remains an open question. One thing's certain: it would be a far cry from her silent, wheelchair-bound debut.
