Crown Clash Event: Steel Your Resolve from May 10-18
As Trainers prepare for the Sweet Discoveries event, Pokémon Go is rolling out its royal battle extravaganza with the Crown Clash event. From May 10th through 18th, seize this opportunity to evolve the mighty Kingambit, collect regal attire, and hunt for Shiny Pokémon while benefiting from boosted evolution XP bonuses.
Kingambit's Grand Debut
The formidable Kingambit finally arrives in Pokémon Go during this regal event. To add this Big Blade Pokémon to your team, you'll need to evolve a Bisharp under special conditions: keep it as your Buddy Pokémon while defeating 15 Dark- or Steel-type Pokémon in Raid Battles (Bisharp doesn't need to participate in the battles itself).
Royal Pokémon Apparel
The event introduces newly crowned variants of Nidoqueen and Nidoking, appearing in three-star raids with a chance for Shiny encounters. The one-star raid roster features Sneasel, Klink, and Pawniard for Trainers seeking different challenges.
Wild Encounters & Rewards
Wild spawns will include Slowpoke (with potential King's Rock drops), Slakoth, Piplup, Combee, Snivy, and Litleo. Pawniard will also appear more frequently in the wild for lucky Trainers.
