The reveal also highlights some innovative features of the set. For the first time in Magic's history, players can summon Saga creatures, like Summon: Shiva, to aid them in battle. Additionally, the set brings back double-faced cards, exemplified by Cecil's dual nature as a Dark Knight and a Redeemed Paladin.

The Final Fantasy set will boast over 100 legendary creature cards, with 55 of them featuring borderless designs. These cards are illustrated by beloved artists from the Final Fantasy series, adding a special touch to the collection.

Set to launch on June 13, the Magic: The Gathering Final Fantasy set will be fully draftable and Standard-legal. It will be accompanied by four preconstructed Commander decks, each themed around a different Final Fantasy game: 6, 7, 10, and 14. Each deck will contain 100 cards, blending new Final Fantasy cards with existing ones that have been given a fresh Final Fantasy-themed art. This set promises to be a thrilling addition to both the Magic: The Gathering and Final Fantasy universes.
