First up, we introduce the Cloudspire Coordinator, an uncommon creature card designed to showcase the essence of Aetherdrift's red-white color pairing. This card represents the Cloudspire Racing Team from the plane of Kylem, a team first featured in the 2v2-focused set Battlebond from 2018. With a power of 3, the Cloudspire Coordinator can crew vehicles itself, and its activated ability allows you to create Pilot token creatures to take the wheel. This card is a fantastic addition for those looking to build a red-white deck in an Aetherdrift draft.

The second card we're excited to unveil is the rare enchantment, Count on Luck. This 3-mana card with an all-red-pip casting cost offers a straightforward yet powerful effect: at the beginning of each of your turns, you exile the top card of your library and have the opportunity to play it that turn. Known as "impulse draw," this mechanic ensures a steady flow of additional cards for your mono-red deck, provided you can use them right away. It's a "use it or lose it" scenario that adds a thrilling layer of strategy to your game.

Lastly, we're sharing a glimpse of Count on Luck in its extended-art and First-Place Foil versions. While the extended-art isn't a new concept, offering a wider view by removing the card frame on the sides, the First-Place Foils are a fresh addition to Aetherdrift. These dazzling golden cards are exclusively available in a randomized buy-a-box promo pack included with every box of Aetherdrift. Not only do the rares receive this special treatment, but 10 full-art lands do as well, making them highly sought-after collectibles.

Aetherdrift is set to hit the streets on February 14, with prereleases starting on February 7. To dive deeper into the mechanics and themes of the set, be sure to check out more information here. Get ready to race across the multiverse with Aetherdrift!
