Today is Earth Day, and Pikmin Bloom has introduced an exciting new way to celebrate through the Party Walk event. This time, instead of focusing on your steps, you're encouraged to plant more flowers. If you're a fan of Niantic's augmented reality and location-based gaming, you won't want to miss out on this special event.
When Is the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk?
The Earth Day-themed Official Party Walk in Pikmin Bloom is scheduled from April 22nd to April 30th. Instead of tracking your steps, you'll now be counting the flowers you plant. Every bloom you plant contributes to a global total, adding to the Earth Day celebration with more greenery and purpose. Pikmin Bloom rewards this effort with fun incentives.
Depending on the collective number of flowers planted during the event, participants can unlock unique weather-themed Decor Pikmin through Huge Seedlings. Here are the rewards at stake: if the total reaches 500 million flowers, everyone who participates will receive a Huge Seedling that grows into a Leaf Hat Decor Pikmin. Hit 1 billion flowers, and you'll unlock a Snow Decor Pikmin. If the community manages to plant 1.5 billion flowers, players will get a Huge Seedling for a Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin, exclusively for White Pikmin.
But Keep This in Mind
Remember, your flowers won't count towards the global total unless you officially join the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk. Ensure you've updated to app version 117 and signed up correctly. If you haven't yet, you can download the game from the Google Play Store.
To make planting flowers easier, everyone participating in the event will receive a promo code. All types of flowers contribute to the goal, so feel free to plant any kind you like. Just get out there and start blooming!
