Dreamland, once a serene sanctuary within the world of Play Together, is now under siege by a nightmare invasion orchestrated by the Queen of the Night. The chaos has not only engulfed Dreamland but has also spread to Kaia Island, filling both locales with eerie monsters.
What's Happening in the Nightmare Invasion
The invasion brings forth a host of terrifying creatures, including the Sneering Pillow and the Abandoned Doll, which players must combat using a unique weapon known as the Dream Gun. By defeating these monsters, players can acquire the coveted Bed Consumed by Nightmares.
In addition to the monster onslaught, Dreamland's ecosystem has transformed. There are now 20 new types of nightmare fish, such as Nightmare Jellyfish and Nightmare Sperm Whales, alongside 14 nightmare insects like Nightmare Butterflies and Spiders. These can be captured through fishing or gathering and exchanged for Nightmare Essence, the currency for this event.
Nightmare Essence proves invaluable at the Dreamland Workshop, where players can craft exclusive items such as the Nightmare Music Box and Nightmare Garden Lamp.
Collaborative Efforts to Defeat the Queen of the Night
A new mini-game has been introduced that requires Nightmare Essence to participate. Players help an NPC named Abyss recover lost memories by collecting Fragments of Memory from the Drawer of Nightmares. Each drawer opened may yield a memory fragment, allowing progression, or an empty drawer, ending the round. Successfully gathering all fragments rewards players with the Nightmare Girl Costume and Nightmare Bedroom Wallpaper.
The Queen of the Night Draw has also been added to Play Together, offering a chance to win nightmare-themed items, including the Scepter of the Night weapon, directly linked to the main villain behind this invasion.
Moreover, players can now set fish traps in various locations such as the Plaza, Resort, and Dreamland on Kaia Island. The effectiveness of these traps depends on their size and the bait used, influencing the quantity and type of fish caught.
It's crucial to note that the connection between Dreamland and Kaia Island will only remain open until May 21st. After this date, the passage will close, so players should download the game from the Google Play Store as soon as possible to partake in this thrilling event.
