T-1000 Gameplay Trailer Unveiled for Mortal Kombat 1

Rumors are swirling around Mortal Kombat 1, with many speculating that the current round of downloadable content (DLC) will mark the end of new fighter additions. This means that after the T-1000, fans might not see any more new characters join the roster. However, it's premature to focus on that, as we've just been treated to a new gameplay trailer showcasing the Liquid Terminator in Mortal Kombat 1.

Unlike characters like Homelander, who dazzle with their aerial prowess and agility, T-1000 brings a different kind of flair to the game. His standout feature is his ability to transform into liquid metal, a skill that can be leveraged to dodge attacks and execute prolonged combos effectively.

True to his origins, T-1000's Fatality pays homage to Terminator 2: Judgment Day. In this brutal finishing move, he employs a giant truck reminiscent of the one seen in the film's iconic chase scene. While the trailer didn't reveal the full Fatality—likely to keep the rating below 18+ and to preserve some of the excitement—the tease was enough to get fans excited.

T-1000 is set to join Mortal Kombat 1 on March 18, alongside a new Kameo fighter, Madam Bo. As for what lies ahead for the game, neither Ed Boon nor NetherRealm Studios have disclosed any future plans yet, leaving fans eagerly awaiting more news.
