Steam Playtest Recruitment Now Open
The stealth action game VIVA NOBOTS is now available for public alpha testing on Steam! This alpha playtest will be active for two weeks, from April 24th until May 8th, 2025, ending at 8:59 AM JST. To participate, visit the VIVA NOBOTS Steam store page and select the "Request Access" button to join the playtest.
Developer and publisher SHUEISHA GAMES expressed their appreciation in a Steam news update: "Our entire team sincerely appreciates your support. If you get a chance to experience the prototype version of VIVA NOBOTS, we would be grateful for any feedback you can share. Based on your input during this user test, we hope to move closer to an official release!"
Sneak, Steal, and Reveal!
This engaging multiplayer game challenges players to sneakily gather valuable treasures while watching out for rival contestants in 16-player matches. As a NOBOT—a treasure hunter in disguise—you’ll blend into the crowd of NPC excavation robots exploring ancient ruins. The objective is to collect as much treasure as possible and climb the wanted rankings without being detected. Mimic the behavior of actual NPC bots, discreetly excavate treasure through a slot machine-style roulette mini-game, and collect both resources and helpful buffs to maximize your haul.
Players can also use the Doubt Gun to expose disguised opponents attempting to escape, revealing their identity and eliminating them from the match. Successfully catching a rival nets you extra bounty and any dropped treasure. But use caution—accidentally targeting a genuine NPC robot carries penalties. Authentic security bots also patrol the area, so move quietly and carefully to maintain your cover.
To emerge victorious, players must either safely exit the ruins with their collected treasure or expose three rivals to activate a "Victory Lap," declaring them the match winner. Only the most skilled NOBOT will prevail!
