Kuro Games has just announced the exciting upcoming update for Wuthering Waves, Version 2.1, titled "Waves Sing, and the Cerulean Bird Calls," which is set to launch very soon. This update promises to enrich the game with new Resonators, weapons, regions, and a slew of events. The expansion will extend Ragunna City and its surrounding areas, introducing fresh narratives, challenges, and opportunities for exploration.
At the forefront of the Version 2.1 update are two new five-star Resonators, Phoebe and Brant, each bringing their unique combat styles to the game. Alongside them, new weapons such as the five-star Luminous Hymn and Unflickering Valor will be available. Players can also earn the four-star Ocean's Gift by participating in a fishing-themed event set in the Riccioli Islands.
For those who love to explore, Version 2.1 introduces two new regions: Vault Underground and the Riccioli Islands. The Vault, hidden beneath the Sea of Clouds, serves as a secure storage zone, while the Riccioli Islands preserve the traditions of Rinascita’s past, offering a contrast to Ragunna’s orderly structure.
These new areas enrich the lore of Wuthering Waves, complemented by new stories such as Brant’s Companion Story, "Sail Day, Captain!", which delves into his past, and the "Silent as a Falling Leaf" Exploration Quest, which invites players deeper into Ragunna’s mysteries. Players will also face new challenges with the introduction of Echoes like "Rage Against the Statue" and "Aero Prism."
The update will also feature several limited-time events. "Old Man and the Whale" lets players embark on a quest to catch rare fish, while "Apex Ragunna" ties into the long-awaited Carnevale festival, unlocking new areas in the Water City. These events offer ample opportunities to gather resources, much like the *Wuthering Waves codes* that provide numerous freebies.
For combat enthusiasts, "Tactical Simulacra III" and "Infinite Battle Simulation II" offer structured challenges, and the "Whimpering Wastes" introduces a permanent high-difficulty combat zone.
