HoYoverse has officially announced the launch date for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7, titled 'Bury Your Tears with the Past,' set to release on April 23rd. This update marks the conclusion of Season 1, promising to tie up loose ends and deliver a thrilling climax to ongoing storylines.
What’s in Store in Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7?
Version 1.7 is set to unravel the long-standing mystery of the Sacrifice crisis. Players will dive deeper into Vivian's intricate backstory and finally uncover the truth about Hugo's fate, which has been a subject of much speculation. After Hugo's dramatic fall into the Hollow, tensions between Mockingbird and TOPS have escalated significantly, prompting the Mayor to dispatch a special Void Hunter-rank investigator to manage the situation.
In this update, alongside Vivian, players will venture into hostile territories to track down the Sacrifice Core. Vivian's journey will also involve confronting figures from her past, while the Exaltists' conspiracy begins to unravel, setting the stage for dramatic revelations.

Here’s the Character Lineup
Version 1.7 introduces two new S-Rank Agents from Mockingbird. Vivian, an Ether Anomaly Agent, utilizes a parasol and rapier to deliver high Corruption damage, especially when paired with other characters' EX Special Attacks. The second new character, Hugo, is an Ice Attack Agent who wields a suitcase that transforms into a scythe. His ability to trigger a Totalize effect on stunned enemies amplifies damage based on the remaining stun duration.
Additionally, Robin, Mockingbird’s agile Bangboo partner, joins the fray with her unique card-throwing abilities that produce random effects. Returning characters include Jane, a Physical Anomaly Agent, and Lighter, a Fire Stun Agent, both featuring in Version 1.7's banners.
To keep the gameplay fresh, Version 1.7 introduces new events such as 'Say It With Flowers,' where players can manage a flower shop, fulfilling design requests and crafting floral arrangements. Completing these commissions will unlock a permanent floral arrangement mini-game in Quality Time mode, along with exclusive rewards.
