Nate Mitchell, PDG de Mountaintop Studios, a déclaré : "Deux semaines se sont écoulées depuis le lancement de Spectre Divide Saison 1 : Flashpoint. Bien que nous apprécions profondément l'accueil positif de la communauté, le lancement n'a pas atteint le succès nécessaire pour poursuivre le développement ou maintenir les opérations du studio."

Les premières statistiques semblaient prometteuses avec plus de 400 000 joueurs et 10 000 utilisateurs simultanés en pic sur toutes les plateformes durant la première semaine. Cependant, l'engagement soutenu et les revenus n'ont pas répondu aux exigences opérationnelles.
